LOOK WHAT MY GORGEOUS BOYFRIEND GOT FOR ME!!!

It's a beautiful rose in a little vase! I love it so much. This is the first time I've really received anything for Valentines Day, and it's so pretty. I took zillions of photos of it. However, I wasn't really thrilled when I first heard about it at roughly 6AM this morning.

I actually turned into a sort of giant, green monster who began smashing the hopes and dreams of anyone who came within a five foot radius.

You see, my parents don't know I'm in a relationship with a lovely boy. I try to keep it low key, and I don't really want them to know since I really want my privacy. Having a rose sent to my house on Valentines Day is sort of like a police siren that screams "SHE'S GOT A BOYFRIEND, SHE'S GOT A BOYFRIEND!!". I of course objected with screaming and demanding that it be cancelled for fear of losing my cover. However, I eventually compromised on going to pick it up myself from the florist. It's actually quite nice, although I'm still paranoid about hiding it.

In other news, I signed up for Triond yesterday and gleefully wrote my first article. Today, it got published! I'm really happy: it proves that I can do this. I'll have to continue with this, expanding my reader base... It's not going to be a huge source of income, but at least it's a little something to keep me occupied. I'm gonna make a little section on this site for all the articles I write to keep track of the randomness of my topics. :D
