The Yellow Meadow :)

I've finished for the summer at Eden! 4 Months of hard work, smoothies, Roul-rouls and Bread, completed!

I'll miss you little birdies :)
So in a few short days, I'll be heading up to Leeds to University... I still think it's surreal. I can't believe it's finally happening, and I still don't feel as if I'm leaving home... it's so exciting! Leeds is such a big city, and one of the big things I'm looking forward to is access to the entertainment and facilities it has to offer. I've already bought concert tickets to see Scroobius Pip in Leeds, which is something I never would have been able to do in Cornwall... did this at Eden to celebrate:

...for years I was smart - I'd recommend pleasant."
I've been listening to him for a few years now and love his solo stuff, and was pleasantly surprised to find out that his new solo album is coming out on the 19th of September! I'm so pumped for it :)

So I've got my second week of diet-attempts recorded. I tried really hard in the first half of the week and felt really pleased with myself, but then I posted on a forum about it and was told that I was undereating... which isn't great for my health, but at the same time overeating isn't, which is what I seem to have done over the last few days :/

I'll have to start watching what I eat again, and get back into exercising. I keep saying that I'll be able to monitor my diet and exercise a lot better once I go to Leeds, and I'm going to stand by that. I have a week left to set myself up nicely. I think I have to consider my diet a bit more, too: I can't just look at calories. From everything I've seen I'm under the impression that I'll have to eat lots of fruit and veg, brown and wholemeal grains and a bit of meat (as long as there's protein). I'm going to try hard.

I've been introduced to this website called losertown, where you can get a rough estimate of your weight loss when you stick to a certain calorie amount. This is an estimate of what I'd lose with light exercise 3 times a week, with a calorie intake of 1400 per day.

I want to get down to 159lbs, and according to this I should reach that goal by February if I stick to it. I'll try to do it!
